Data
Sector Mapping
We developed a complex database for the Domestic Abuse Commissioner's Office to analyse a national dataset of service provision for victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
Data collection
We explored ways in which Just Life could collect data about the effectiveness of their services in a way that reinforced relationships with the people they work with.
Workplace Wellbeing Index
We built a system for Mind to analyse data and automate reporting in the inaugural year of their Workplace Wellbeing Index.
Impact Measurement
Drug & alcohol recovery
Working with the Health Research Board in Ireland we developed a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Outcomes Framework. By mapping services and drawing on established measurement tools we compiled an outcomes framework for shared measurement in the sector.
Monitoring & evaluation
We work with Lloyds Bank Foundation to support small charities with impact measurement. Sectors include mental health, support for refugees and asylum seekers, criminal justice, learning disabilities and women's community support.
Outcomes framework
Together with Respond, we were awarded funding by the Centre of Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse to build evaluation capacity at the organisation. We produced a theory of change, built an outcomes framework and developed tools to systemically capture data on progress and outcomes.
Social Research
Qualitative Interviews
We conducted face to face interviews with people with lived experience of mental health to understand their experiences of social housing.
Focus Groups
We conducted workshops with people with MS to hear their views on how campaigns at the MS Society promote agency and empowerment. We used their insight to identify themes and produce tools to track the impact of campaigns.
Service user journey
We worked with CSTM to devise a rigorous and practical approach to mapping the journey of their service users. We carried out individual interviews and follow-up contact to understand the outcomes for people accessing homelessness services.
Outcomes measurement
We delivered outcomes measurement training to Newham Council for their community neighbourhoods teams to agree a framework for tracking and evaluating their resilience strategy.
Theory of Change
We trained St John Ambulance and worked with them to produce a theory of change for their organisation. Subsequently we worked with different departments to produce service level theories of change.
Facilitation
We facilitated a strategic planning day for the Cancer Cluster at the School of Health Sciences. We supported the cluster to develop project ideas and seed bids for potential funding.
